This fragment of raised relief depicts two parallel bands, one with traces of black paint and one with tracks of red paint.
Overall this scene depicts a boat manned by several fragmentary rowers. Ther are also two standing men at the stern operating steering oars and one man standing on the prow directing the rowers.

Provenance

From Giza, Street G 7000, debris E of subsidiary pyramid G I-b. November, 1924: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1927: assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
