DescriptionThis fragment, executed in low raised relief, depicts the hind quarters and tail of an ox, and the knee of a man following behind it. This fragment joins 13.4346.2 and is just below 13.4346.4.
The overall scene 13.4346 is executed in low raised relief. It depicts Nekhebu seated facing right towards three registers of offering bearers, facing left, bringing cattle, gazelle, etc. In the bottom register, in front of the offering bearers, is the head of Nekhebu's brother Pepymerankhptah.

ProvenanceFrom Giza. Found on shelves marked "G2381/G 2382 Nekhebu." From tomb of Nekhebu G 2382 [(originally thought to be a tomb, but now known to be a jumbled deposit of limestone blocks from other nearby tombs)], court, originally from G 2381. Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
