This pendant/brooch has elaborate acanthus leaves, curves, and granulated ball decoration. It is cast with hand-finished detailing on the front and chasing on the reverse (in imitation of Renaissance jewels). In the center is a lapis lazuli carbochon and there is a small pearl drop on the bottom. The stone is riveted to the goldwork.
