DescriptionRing with a hollow square bezel set with a carved stone head. The head is in high relief. The stone appears to be carnelian with a brownish-gray substrate. The oval cameo is bezel-set on a hollow cushion. The convex underside is closed. On one quadrant is an engraved 'C' next to a sun with rays. The opposite quadrant has three engraved letters 'N E Y'. Both shoulders have engraved striations and scalloped borders. The center of the shank is raised and there is solder repair where the shoulders meet the bezel.
