Ring with a carved amethyst face of a man. The stone is bezel-set in an imitation beaded wire surround. It is surrounded by pearls in bezels that are notched on the surface and open underneath. The shoulders are decorated with wires and the shank is composed of double wires. The underside of the amethyst is open and shows damage to the stone.
