DescriptionRing with a carnelian, intaglio bezel with a Greek inscription. The sawtooth bezel is raised with striated lines around the vertical bezel. There are two registers. The shoulders have scroll decoration and the shank has ridges. It has an Ancient Greek or Byzantine intaglio with a late-18th century mount.
