Signet ring, possibly a guild ring, with an octagonal bezel featuring a lamb with a nimbus carrying a banner with a cross. Below the lamb on the lower third of the bezel are the intiails “IGS.” There is a contour line inside the octagonal edge. The shoulders and shank have carved blossoms and diagonal lines. There are several impressed marks beneath the bezel including the letter “N,” possibly for Nuremberg. The ring has been resized or repaired.
