Ring with box bezel flanked by caryatids. The lid of the box has red enamel on carved, gold sheet. A raised, enameled mount is set with a rectangular table-cut sapphire flanked by rose-cut diamonds. The heads of the figures have headdresses with faceted rubies or spinels. The enameled underside of the box features a butterfly and text. Interior of box decorated with white silk painted with blue dots on top and white enamel with black “x”s on bottom.
