DescriptionThis is a fragment of a ring bezel and part of shank. It has impressed hieroglyphs consisting of an animal-headed deity holding a scepter, with a sun disc above.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Giza, North of pyramid I-b. 1924: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
