Brown glass. Intaglio. Set loosely in ancient(?) gold ring: massive oval hoop with rectangular shoulder and raised setting. Image carved on convex side of seal. A semi-draped figure leaning on pillar with right elbow. Torso is bare; drapery swathed around hips and carried over the right arm in two pleats. Surface of the gem is rough.
