Mandarin style fan with a circular painted paper leaf court scenes with many figures with appliquéd faced on a blue and green ground on the obverse side. Branches with flowers, birds and insects on silver background cover the reverse side. Silk tape binding with discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts and a carved ivory handle with figures, buildings, flowers. Elaborate tassel with salmon, yellow, purple silk yarns; gilt-silver and silver wire, black cord in two knots holding a large wooden bead with carved figures.
