The rosette design resembles petals with alternating sections of dark and light blue. The center is raised and the disc is pierced side-to-side.

Faience pendants and amulets were mass produced, as is shown by the many examples gathered here. The quartz paste and coloring matter was pressed into the ceramic mold, and then fired.
