DescriptionLenticular container. Hammered, champlevé, engraved, chased, enameled, and gilded. A convex enameled plaque with two uncentered loops for suspension is soldered to a flat plaque with a rectangular notch at the top for a lid. The ground is lapis blue with engraved figures in reserve. Seated behind a table set with (from left to right) a bowl, a beaker, a round loaf of bread, and a platter of fish are two figures, one pouring from a jug into a beaker held by the other. A large quatrefoil fills the ground between their heads. The reserved border around the scene is decorated with a double row of chased dots.
