Intaglio. Flat on both sides. A figure of indeterminate gender, crouching to the left with one knee raised, possibly the nymph Amymone. The figure is holding a trident in the right hand and a pitcher with a long neck, handle, spout and squat, round body. Motif situated on a partial ground line.

Tell Dafana (Daphnae). 1886: excavated by William Matthew Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the EEF by the Egyptian government; presented to the MFA at EEF fifth annual general meeting; sent over June 1, 1887.
