Description"Transylvanian" double-niche carpet. Warp: yellow wool. Weft: red wool. Pile: wool, 16 Ghiordes knots to the square centimetre. Design: mainfield red, with angular flowers and lamps blue spandrels; Main border red, with cartouches in ivory. Knotted warp fringe.
