DescriptionTapestry-woven rug with white wool warp, reddish-brown ground, stripes of blue, white, green, black, some fuschia (analine); tufts along sides. Bands of brocading in chevron and wishbone patterns at each end. Large center medallion pattern, formed by rows of knotted pile (colors as above) spaced at approximately three-quarter-inch intervals (rows of reddish-brown plain weave between).
