DescriptionDouble warp of white cotton, fine pink cotton weft; pile, wool; 49 Persian (Sehna) knots to a square centimeter. The ground is a deep pinkish red, small blue seed vessels and part of a large leaf-like form detailed with open flowers is all that shows of the pattern. The colors are light and dark blue, blue-green, greenish yellow, white, brown and light brown. Part of the same rug as 17.1404 and similar to 04.251, 04.252, 08.438.
