The warp is of white wool: the weft of brown wool. The pile is also of wool. Twenty-five Persian (Sehna) knots to the square centimeter. The design consists of a combination of diamonds, squares and triangles, and reciprocal trefoil border. On each end are deep webs. On one end the design is woven in, on the other embroidered. On one end is a braided loop of natural colored yarn. The colors are black, dark blue and pinkish red. Moth eaten. The photograph [on card] only shows one end of the piece.
