DescriptionThe warp is of white wool (?), the weft of red wool, pile wool, twelve Turkish (Ghiordes) knots to the square centimeter. The ground of the main field is dark blue; the design of rows of conventional pear or palm forms is red, white and yellow. The ground of the main border is light golden brown. On this are pairs of leaves set obliquely and separated by conventional, symmetrical flower forms. The colors are the same with the addition of a pale reddish violet. The guard bands are of barber pole design. The bottom is finished with a red web. The sides are overcast with red.
