Description"Windrush" design sample printed at Merton Abbey in light green, gold, black and white. "Windrush" takes its name from a tributary of the Thames. Design of large scale flowers on undulating stems in part inspired by 15th century Italian and Near Eastern textile patterns. One repeat: full loom width. Along left selvedge: REGD, MORRIS & COMPANY.
