Sampler worked in cross, satin, oriental stitches; ground divided into two vertical arched panels each surrounded by a winged face, and enclosing the Ten Commandments in verse above arches inscription: “subiectt to change are all Things Here Below as by Experience we Poor Mortals Know then Lets Prepare For our Great change and then We Having Grace fhall be most Happy men”, below arches the date, September 12, 1730.
