White linen ground divided into thirds; each third divided into horizontal rectangular compartments. Designs: various stylized floral and geometric motives. The six compartments in the lower right hand corner contain the sentence (partially translated as) “Lo hizo Maria Dolores Canizo and Aranzudia has dedicated this to her mother”. Polychrome silk yarns. Good condition. Stitches: counted satin, double running, 4-sided stitch, pattern darning, running, sawtooth, stem; pulled work including buttonhole stitch.
