DescriptionNatural colored linen. In the central panel the alphabet with numeral 1-4 and the following "Anna Bateman of Chelmsford born November 9th 1796. Wrought the A. D. 1807 AE 11", worked in cross-stitch in pink, pinkish-orange, greenish blue, neutral violet and cream colored silk. Same colors used in working tree flanked by two houses at bottom and strawberry vine around other three sides.
