「櫻八題 三渓園」
The Sankei-en garden in Yokohama, built by a
local businessman, was opened to the public in
1904 and donated to the city in 1953. Winding
trails lead visitors through the spacious grounds
to historic buildings brought from various parts
of Japan, including a hall and pagoda from the
old Kyoto temple of Tōmyō-ji. The garden is
famous not only for its cherry blossoms but also
for azaleas, iris, and autumn maple leaves.
