DescriptionSaltillo style sarape with a white mainfield powdered with red and black dots. Around four sides is a border of zig-zag lines of green, red, pink, yellow, brown, blue and white. A medallion like the border is covered with a piece of velvet embroidered with roses in white and tan color. Three silver clasps of a .....? design fasten the opening in the middle of the serape, and at each end of the opening is an owl's head in silver from which hang two short pieces of chain.
