Intaglio. Pieced for stringing (horiztonal). Motif oriented horizontally. Griffin facing left, clutches in its forelocks a dead youth, lying prone with one arm thrown above his head. Griffin has curved beak, pointy ears, large eye and has its mouth open with tongue sticking out. Hatched border.
