Scarf end. Crimson silk ground with crepe effect. Embroidered with polychrome silks and gold and silver yarns. Band formed by three repeats of a unit showing an S-shaped branch bearing a variety of blossoms and leaves. Narrower band of undulating floral vine below. Stitches resemble satin and double darning stitches. Metals worn and tarnished.
