Provenance

From Giza. G2382. Originally thought to be a tomb, but now known to be a jumbled deposit of limestone blocks from nearby court tomb. 1913: : excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
