Secretary in two cases; lower case, supported on bracket feet, contains a tier of four drawers, with the top drawer a secretary drawer and of greater depth; upper case contains two glazed bookcase doors below a shaped cornice with brass eagle on central plinth and ball finials at sides; muntins form octagonal pattern at center; elliptical brasses.

Markings

Later lock on small interior drawer marked: "Patented / Feb. 1. 76 / Nov. 27.77" and with a "Y & T" mark inside a shaped cartouche.
