This bowl has a small flat base with convex sides that end with a straight rim. It is a fine redware bowl in excellent condition, slipped with a high horizontal burnish over the exterior and both a horizontal and vertical burnish over the interior; unevenly flat base and some fire-clouds and ash discoloration at the base and the interior rim. Exterior potmarking and use-wear at the rim.

From Gerf Hussein (ASN73/29/1). 1908. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
