DescriptionThis is a shawabty of Queen Naparaye, daughter of Piankhy, wife of Taharqa. The shawabty is uninscribed. This mummiforn shape does not have a back pillar or base. Features such as the calfs, knees and hips are shaped. No hands or implements are depicted. The female figure wears a tripartite wig and there is a wigline visible on the back. The object was broken in two pieces and is not mended.
