DescriptionThis is a shawabty found in the tomb of Queen Naparaye, daughter of Piankhy, wife of Taharqa. The shawabty is uninscribed. This mummiforn shape does not have a back pillar or base. Features such as the calfs, knees and hips are shaped. No hands or implements are depicted. The male figure wears a tripartite wig and has a long beard. Only the tip of the left lappet remains, but there is no wigline. The head and feet are missing.
