DescriptionThis is a shawabty found in the tomb of Queen Naparaye, daughter of Piankhy, wife of Taharqa. The shawabty is uninscribed. This mummiforn shape does not have a back pillar or base. Features such as the calfs, knees and hips are shaped. No hands or implements are depicted. This fragment is missing its head, shoulders and toes, so it is impossible to determine whether it is type "a" or "b."
