Silk warps, wool and silk wefts. Cream twill ground with narrow applied floral bands bordering long sides and deep bands showing large cones with scattered flowers between them at the shorter ends. Above and below the cones, bands matching those applied at the sides; between upper band and white ground, a row of conventionalized trees. Colors: blue, green, red, yellow-orange, black, buff (silk). Silk warps twisted to form fringe at ends. Condition very good. Bought in Paisley by the donor’s grandfather.
