DescriptionSquare shawl. Field: a central medallion with simple floral motives radiating symmetrically. An elaborate buta spray repeats in each corner angled towards the medallion. Repeating between each spray, also pointing to center, is an elaborate cone shaped buta and floral design; green wool twill ground. Border: dense continuous repeating buta and floral motives; red wool twill ground. Polychrome silk and metallic yarns. Faded in streaks; many missing and worn yarns; reembroidered in many areas.
