Shawl, round, with scalloped edges. Net, embroidered with silver and gilt yarns in chain stitch and with silver and gilt sequins. Design of conventionalized scrolling fern-like forms, following scallping of edges and converging towards center. Sequins describing ribs, and yarns filling in the leaves. Embroidery changes sides so that when worn folded, all of the embroidery appears on the right side.
