Warp: wool; weft: silk. Jacquard-woven, long rectangular shawl with elongated cone motifs (butas) comprised of naturalistic floral sprays (roses, daisies and poppies) in predominant shades of pink, red, blue and green wool threads along sides and deep end borders (phalas) on cream-colored ground. Condition: good. Some tears in center field and along fringe seam.
