Shawl of wool twill tapestry, constructed of several panels, with white main field and obliquely set floral botehs in each corner embroidered in polychrome wool; surrounding main field is a border of repeating, angled floral botehs; narrow guard bands (hashia) with floral meander predominately blues, red and white; deep crosswise borders (palla) with row of eight large botehs merging with cypress and small scale floral motifs filling spaces in between.
