Square shawl of dark blue silk gauze and design woven and brocaded in silver wire and gilded silver wire wound on silk cores and red silk. Outer border of herringbone weave in gilded silver with narrow strips of red on each side. Wide inner border of lattice-work with rosettes in silver and gold. Central field has rows of boteh motifs brocaded in gold, and a large boteh motif at each corner brocaded in gold and silver herringbone weave.
