Square shawl, sheer silk ground, green in center with wide red borders on all four sides, green center: central roundel with foliate and vine border and hexagons enclosing rosettes in center, background small-scale ogives enclosing rosette, large cone in each corner; red borders; rosettes arranged in diagonal lines; outer borders on all four sides of herringbone; design brocaded gold and silver; warps tie-dyed to achieve break between red and green.
