Rectangular shawl of wool twill tapestry with design of sold black central field and deep borders on each crosswise end with intricate curvilinear boteh motifs composed of scrolling floral and vines in pink, red, blue, green, yellow, black and white; borders along side with similar bathes arranged obliquely; white guard bands with floral meander on four outer edges; narrow black wool fringe on each crosswise end; pieced.
