Shawl of cashmere twill tapestry with pale pinkish-orange main field with graceful, curvilinear floral boteh motifs set obliquely in each corner and floral half medallions along the sides; deep crosswise border (palla) at each end with large, curviliner boteh motifs composed of scrolling flowers embroidered in red, dark blue, light blue, yellow and green wool; narrow border along sides of similar design; narrow guard bands (hashia) with floral meander woven in similar colors; two of the corners have been patched with pieces of white cashmere embroidered with reddish violet.
