Shawl of cashmere twill tapestry with design of white main field and two crosswise borders (palla) with rows of small repeating floral motifs in dark blue and red surrounded by three borders, one of stars, one of symmetrical, separate plant forms and round spots, and one of an undulating vine bearing flowers and leaves. The main field is surrounded by a border of stylized flowers pointing inwards.
