The ground is of red wool. The main border, which is red, is surrounded by a border of palm forms, set obliquely. In the corners are palm forms and twisted stems. On the edge are large palm forms separated by twisted stems bearing conventional leaves. The shawl is surrounded by a border of rosette-like flowers on a white ground. A similar border separates the main field from the wide border of palms. Woven with bright red, light grayish blue, yellow, white, green and black wool.
