The warp is of fine silk, the weft of silk, wool and cotton. The ground of the main field is woven with white silk and wool. In the center is a square form made up of floral and geometrical ornament. The border has scallops turning inward. From these grow conventional arrangements of flowers. The design is woven with bright red, dark blue, pinkish violet, green and strong yellow cotton.
