DescriptionLong rectangular shawl; bright green ground, design in bright polychrome, deep borders, on two ends, of closely massed bright polychrome conventionalized floral medallions, cones and ogives, outline large-scale cones overlaid above floral motives; inner border of same design on all four sides, outer border (sewed on) of floral palmette and vine; central body of shawl not plain, but with two large tangent roundels with floral and cone frame; in center of each roundel, a tile-like floral rosette embroidered in polychrome; fringe, on two ends, of tabs of polychrome wool twill. .
