DescriptionShawl or scarf of red plain-weave silk, embroidered with cream-white and deep blue silk in buttonhole and chain stitches, with overall repeating design in main field of small circular flowers with leaves and stems and narrow crosswise borders with row of stylized botehs enclosed in floral lozenge; narrow guard bands of small flowers and zigzag pattern.
