Sherd from a miniature jar: 50% of base and profile to just below shoulder preserved. Like all vessels which fall into the category of Old Kingdom miniature vessels, this jar was completely manufactured on the wheel. Unslipped.

From Giza, G 4440 A, shaft. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
