DescriptionJar with slightly everted direct rim and round base: thirty-five sherds total, not reassembled (though glue marks along the edges of sherds suggests the pot was once reconstructed). The round base is preserved complete. Otherwise, the vessel is too fragmentary to determine body shape. The jar is wheelmade and the surface is unslipped.
ProvenanceFrom Zawyet el-Aryan. Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
