Description24 sherds from a large ovoid jar with pointed base: a few sherds rejoined to the base and the remainder stored unreconstructed. No rim sherds present; profile can be reconstructed to just below neck. The portions of the jar which remain were handmade, likely through coiling. The jar bears a probable cream slip.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, G4630. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
